How Jamie Fraser and Clare really met on Outlander

We think we know the story of how Claire and Jamie met, but did you know that's not quite the truth? It started one day when Jamie took his darling dog Lady out for a walk in the highlands....
 
 
 
 
They both rushed out of his rustic cabin grabbing only his trusty dagger in case they met up with any questionable folks.
 
 
Lady barked and seemed to be trying to tell Jamie something, but he couldn't quite figure out what she was saying.
 
 
 
Meanwhile, Claire and her dog Tramp were playing in the snow, when she noticed him make a little mess. Not wanting to leave the doggie poo in the snow, she pulled one of her dog bags from her pocket. "All cleaned up!" she told Tramp as she started back to the village.
 
 
 
 
Jamie and Lady were heading through the highlands, when Lady suddenly did her business right in the path. Jamie checked the pockets in his kilt, but he suddenly realized he forgot his dog poo bags at home. "That's what ye were tryin' ta tell me, eh lass?" He said to Lady as he tried to find something to pick up the dog poo with. Lady barked and looked up the path, where a woman and her dog were walking their way.
 
 
 
 
 
"Looks like you could use a doggie-bag" said the women in an English accent. Jamie looked deep in her eyes, and replied in his thick, Scottish accent. "Aye". Claire handed him a fresh doggie-bag, and they spent the rest of the walk home together, talking about their dogs.
 
So now you know the real story of how Jamie and Claire met.

Funko Disney Princess Perler Bead Patterns

We've been busy crafting with Perler beads this winter, and have made three of the Disney princesses with them! They are based on the Funko design, and I've tried to capture that Funko look as much as possible!       Here's Snow White, posing for her Perler bead twin.       Rapunzel, Pascal, and Belle.           The three girls together! We want to make the entire collection, but I'm running low on beads at the moment!

Disney Treasures Funko Subscription Box for April 2018

 My Disney Treasures Subscription Box just arrived today from Funko! I knew the theme was "Adventure Is Out There", so I was sure it was going to be someone from "Up". I was surprised to see some old friends from my childhood, Miss Bianca and Bernard from the "Rescuers"! The HIGHLIGHT of the box was the Robin Hood pin!!! I already collect Disney Robin Hood pins, so this one will join the others on my lanyard at the park! The Peter Pan patch will be added to the other 6 patches on my park shirt!   The box it came in is BIG! It looks like the only way they could fit it in is to make the wing detachable. (Thumb's up to whomever figured that one out!). The wing fit pretty snug into the body, but it looks like it could break easily if you weren't careful.   The detail is so cute!   This next section I'm going to call: "How to Immediately Decrease the Value of Your Collectible Funko Pop"   Oh yes.
