Funko 2018 Emerald City Comic Con Flocked Sasquatch!

Image
I can't believe this guy just joined our collection! A friend was kind enough to stand in line at Funko HQ in Everett, Washington, and picked up this Northwest colored Sasquatch. He looks like he just woke up from a long hibernation!

Alice in Wonderland Funko Pop Vinyl Funkobounding at Disneyland

My Alice in Wonderland Funko Pop enjoyed playing around Fantasyland looking for the White Rabbit! She even Funkobounded right into the real Alice's hands... I hope when I go back I can bring the Mad Hatter with me!

I loved Funkobounding with my Winnie the Pooh Funko Pop in Critter Country! He was oh-so-happy to find some giant honey pots!     Ooey gooey honey!     I brought my three minis from the Disney Treasures Subscription boxes too...   Woody from Toy Story checked out Frontierland!         Minnie Mouse hanging out with Minnie Mouse.       Jiminy Cricket getting gobbled up by Monstro!         Happy Funkobounding!

Funkobounding at Disneyland with my Funko Pops!

I love Disney. All things Disney. I wasn't always this way, but after a few really fun trips to Disneyland, I realized my life was better with the whimsy and imagination that comes from this place. I love getting to the park at 6:00 in the morning and watching the sun come up and the park come to life. Once I'm in the park, my favorite thing to do other than looking at pin boards is sitting on a bench with a cake pop from Jolly Holiday, and soaking in the sounds. So I'm always looking for "new" sights in the park that I haven't seen or heard of yet.   A few years ago I started pin collecting, and I LOVE the thrill of the hunt! It let's you enjoy the park without the hassle of lines or too many crowds! After that I found "Disneybounding", the amazing challenge of dressing up like your favorite Disney character, but in street clothes that might not be recognizable to all. Both pin collecting and Disneybounding let me explore the park with new e...

Funko Disney Princess Perler Bead Patterns

Image
We've been busy crafting with Perler beads this winter, and have made three of the Disney princesses with them! They are based on the Funko design, and I've tried to capture that Funko look as much as possible!       Here's Snow White, posing for her Perler bead twin.       Rapunzel, Pascal, and Belle.           The three girls together! We want to make the entire collection, but I'm running low on beads at the moment!

Funko Disney Treasures complete patch set with pins!

I loved all the extra goodies in my first Disney Treasures Box by Funko, and I quickly started getting inspired by their cool possibilities! These patches are only available through the Disney Treasures boxes from Funko, and at the time I'm writing this there are only 6 designs that have come out. I found the Piglet patch in the "Festival of Friends" box at the Funko HQ store, and purchased the February box online that had the Lumiere patch in it. When I placed them next to each other, I realized I needed more! Thankfully I could find the rest on eBay!     With a pending trip to Disneyland just around the corner, I started wondering how I could show my love for Funko at the park. I thought maybe I could put them on a bag, but I already bring my Haunted Mansion backpack or Beauty & the Beast purse when I'm in the park. I remember seeing the vested members of Disneyland "gangs" while I was there in the past, and the idea for my "Funko...
