Merida went exploring in the mountains today. The wind was a bit blustery, and kept blowing her hair into her face as she climbed the rock near the Fire Falls.
We've been busy crafting with Perler beads this winter, and have made three of the Disney princesses with them! They are based on the Funko design, and I've tried to capture that Funko look as much as possible! Here's Snow White, posing for her Perler bead twin. Rapunzel, Pascal, and Belle. The three girls together! We want to make the entire collection, but I'm running low on beads at the moment!
On their latest trip to Earth, the Guardians of the Galaxy had time to take a pit stop in California. Starlord went to Vegas while Rocket and Drax headed to Hollywood. They left Gamora in charge of Baby Groot, who really wanted to see Disneyland. "Do you promise to keep me in sight at all times?" She asked Groot after they got to Cars Land. "I am Groot!" Baby Groot replied. It wasn't long though before Groot got distracted by a cactus... "I am Groot" he said to himself as he walked off a started to explore... "I am Groot!" Said Baby Groot as he saw the water of the pool... "I am Groot?" He wondered what this man did to make it on a wanted poster... "I am Groot!!!" he exclaimed excitedly when he saw Mary Poppins. At lunch time, Baby Groot got a little bit hungry! ...
I love Disney. All things Disney. I wasn't always this way, but after a few really fun trips to Disneyland, I realized my life was better with the whimsy and imagination that comes from this place. I love getting to the park at 6:00 in the morning and watching the sun come up and the park come to life. Once I'm in the park, my favorite thing to do other than looking at pin boards is sitting on a bench with a cake pop from Jolly Holiday, and soaking in the sounds. So I'm always looking for "new" sights in the park that I haven't seen or heard of yet. A few years ago I started pin collecting, and I LOVE the thrill of the hunt! It let's you enjoy the park without the hassle of lines or too many crowds! After that I found "Disneybounding", the amazing challenge of dressing up like your favorite Disney character, but in street clothes that might not be recognizable to all.
